Lora D. Williams

Lora Williams is one of the founding leaders of World Vision’s Women of Vision Austin, and she is a public speaker. Her focus is alleviating the effects of poverty. She is also the founder of Chicktime San Marcos, a grassroots nonprofit organization that supports and empowers women. 
Lora volunteers extensively as a mentor and life coach with the young women in the Gary Job Corp program. She has experienced developing ministries and programs that empower women and youth. She serves as a community advisor for Well Aware; has taught about water, sanitation, and hygiene in Kenya; and assisted in improving the heath of the Kenyan communities, aided by Well Aware and made an impact by providing clean water. 
Lora holds a degree in theology from Life Christian University. She has thirteen years of medical experience as a licensed nurse. Throughout her life, starting at the age of nineteen, she has been privileged to develop and oversee programs that assist with empowering people in all walks of life and various cultures. She has worked extensively with women, men, and youth in different arenas to give them the tools for success.
