In the aftermath of spiritual abuse and toxic leadership, one woman’s shattered life is restored by the faithfulness of God. Athena’s driving desire for affirmation and attention pulled her away from her family, husband, and children into what she thought would bring happiness. Deceived by Scientology, forays into mysticism, and twelve years in a restrictive and legalistic cult, she lost everything—her marriage, relationships, home, business, money, and reputation. This is the candid and inspirational story of how her eyes were opened, how God restored what had been lost, and gave her the desires of her heart, including a new love.

In her book, Full Circle, Athena Dean Holtz shares her compelling life story –the highs, the lows, the wrong choices, and the consequences. But the story doesn’t end there, because this is a story of grace and redemption—and it’s a beautiful reminder that when we submit our hearts and lives to God, He can truly bring us full circle.—Michelle Cox, author of Just 18 Summers, God Glimpses from the Jewelry Box, and God Glimpses from the Toolbox

Telling the truth about our story—the good and not so good parts—is humbling, healthy and full of healing. As his sons and daughters we are to be ready in season and out of season to tell of the Hope within us. You’ve done this in Full Circle. You took us all the way back to the beginning of your life and moved us forward to the present, as present as Christmas 2016. I especially loved the redemption woven throughout the book. I loved the story of your final care of your Momma in TX, the healing and recovery of all the relationships with your family, the forgiveness of yourself and others, the love story between Ross and you, and your finding of the true meaning of the sacred word Home. I have this sense that your book will help others heal through the lens of your story. How can this not happen? Melea Brock, author & storyteller

In Athena's memoir the end of each page begs you to turn and read the next. This is a beautiful depiction of how Gods love and grace wrapped itself around a beautiful lady and never let go. Author Athena Dean Holtz shares her own experience of coming home to the faithfulness of God. Her story is the foundation, but the wisdom and insight she shares are universal. This is a book that will tug at the heart and feed the soul. Edie Melson, author of While My Child is Away and Director of the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference

God has given Athena eyes to see a circle that has never been out of God's hands, but felt wildly out of hers, come together. Athena beautifully illustrates the tracing of God's love and devotion to His daughter; a story every child of God must learn to see on their own. Come taste the redemption felt in Athena's full circle to be inspired over what God is tracing in yours. Whitney Putnam, author of "Imperfectly Brave," Pastor's wife

The expose of Scientology has received a fair amount of national attention lately. As a Christian, it's easy to shake my head and pity those victimized by such a wacky religion. Athena's story reminds me that the beast of religion can also be found in Christianity. It's fascinating that Athena has the unique experience of being a part of Scientology and a Christian cult. Through these harrowing and painful experiences where she lost everything, her faith in a kind and gracious Savior survived. Her story is indeed a wonderful testimony of how Jesus can take the worst of man and redeem them to better than new. Her story will fascinate you and compel you. But mostly, her story will remind you that Jesus is better than our greatest expectations. When Jesus redeems, He truly turns all our worst into His absolute best. His glory shines in Athena's story. I'm so glad she wrote her testimony! I believe this story will set many free who are also trapped in controlling relationships and communities that use the name of Jesus to steal, kill and destroy. May those in such situations be set free through the genuine love of Jesus that heals and restores. Thanks, Athena, for being so transparent and vulnerable. Mostly, thanks for revealing the real Jesus in your story. Thanks so much for going out of your way to provide me a PDF version of your auto-bio. I read it in two sessions, and am so impressed by your awesome testimony. I do recall meeting the Williams family, at the 2010’s ICRS convention in St. Louis. When Winepress folded, I was getting overtures from a few Companies including Redemption Press and “Deep River.” I prayed about it, and the answer emphatically came back “Stick with Athena Dean.” So glad I did. Thanks for the copy of your book. I've read it, actually the day after I received it. It's powerful--the most vivid and vile description of extreme nonsexually related gender abuse that I have read. But it's also a wonderful account of redemption of that which was lost and restoration of that which is yet to come. It's a story of fulfilled promise, of coming home, and of claiming the victory over Satan that Jesus won on the cross. And it is the story of a new beginning: a Kingdom-oriented ministry and a Christ-centered marriage based on partnership and mutual respect. -- Dr, Kirk Farnsworth, author of The Wounded Worker
