Manna Calendar

Manna Calendar is the creation of Presbyterian elder George Meek, a life-long Bible student who has put his faith into practice by taking the homeless into his home, reading and writing for the blind, providing emotional support for the bereaved, listening to troubled callers on a hotline, and leading a Hispanic support group for jail inmates. He selected the poems in Manna Calendar from more than 3,600 that he wrote over a ten-year span. The words flowed through him-he believes from the Holy Spirit-in the order he wrote them, meter, rhyme, and all.
