Description

I’ve been anxiously waiting a return to Caller’s Spring to see how the Lord would continue to use the Reese family. Their journey of healing, hope and transformation was only just the beginning! Return to Caller’s Spring not only illustrates the transformative power of what can happen when we turn the reins of our lives over to Jesus, but it also gives the reader a beautiful picture of faith, hope and peace when dealing with the inevitable storms of life. From beginning to end, this story has something for everyone. It’s packed with the message of change through Christ and Cowboy Recovery, the power of possibility through sacrifice, and God’s fingerprints are all over it! There’s no doubt you will be inspired and challenged by the miracles happening when you Return to Caller’s Spring!

Return to Caller’s Spring has a unique way of intertwining the Gospel into a fiction family’s life. The way theAuthor can take everyday circumstances and put scriptures right in front of them is only a gift from God. The Gospel is evident throughout the entire book. Watching a vision of one become a reality for many through prayer and petition was incredibly thought provoking. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian fiction and the western way of life.

If you’re the kind of person who would rather see a sermon than hear one, you will enjoy reading about the Reeses. They are a sixth-generational Wyoming ranching family who own and operate Caller’s Spring Ranch in Horse Creek. But more importantly this family lives for the Lord’s brand, lock, stock, and barrel.

Follow them through their seasons of life on the ranch. Whether it’s triumph or tragedy, these people are devoted to live for God’s purpose in their generation. You will see forgiveness in action, honesty and integrity in their business dealings, and an inspiring passion for those who need help and hope. God truly uses them as deep channels of blessings toward others.

This was a very easy read. Jim does an excellent job of holding your attention you do not want to put the book down. You forget this is fiction. It is so well written you forget it is fiction. These series of books could easily read by a non believer to introduce them to the Gospel when you might not otherwise make an impact. I could also see a family or individual deal with life issues this book could be a good tool on how to trust God with those issues. I highly recommend this book.

God inspired follow up to Jim’s first book and an awesome, touching story of faith and redemption. The author has brought out salvation, redemption and faith in a very interesting story of the Reese family. It built my faith and I’m anxiously awaiting the author’s next book, although I will miss the Reese family! I shed quite a few tears reading about their trials and how God was with them throughout. We all need the kind of faith they exhibited.

I was very complimented when Jim asked me to use my sculpture on the cover of his first book, “Miracle at Caller’s Spring Ranch”. It represents the early work of my sculpting career which began with scenes from Cowboy life. Since then I’ve migrated toward monumental portrait work including Fred Bear for Bass Pro Shops’ National Archery Hall of Fame and Little Jimmy Dickens and Bill Monroe for Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, but Jim’s knowledge and use of Cowboy imagery in his Caller’s Spring books took me back to those early roots. Jim’s books not only show his knowledge of ranch life and quarter horse blood lines, as well as an understanding of life’s struggles and the human condition, but most importantly they exhibit his passion for individuals without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. During my long relationship with Jim as a friend and my pastor, we have walked together through some of those great struggles of life and wherever you are in your journey through those struggles, I highly recommend you make that “Return to Caller’s Spring Ranch”.
